The slow slide of snail friendship

Across watery pavement lakes

Mirrors the slow glide of 

Baubled raindrops on windows.

I met these two snails on a rainy day, after a walking meditation from Beth Kempton’s Summer Writing Sanctuary reconnected me with the beauty of slowness.
